Wooden Didgeridoo
This piece is a genuine hand-carved didgeridoo, shaped from a single length of solid timber and finished in a warm, natural honey-brown tone that follows the wood's own grain rather than concealing it. Unlike traditional termite-hollowed forms, this instrument has been sculpted into a compact, sculptural silhouette — its bore curving and doubling back on itself before opening into a flared bell base, giving it as much presence as visual art as it holds as a functioning wind instrument.
The mouthpiece is finished with a fitted brass collar, adding a small point of contrast and durability against the smooth timber body. Every curve has been shaped and sanded by hand, the surface left with the natural sheen of oiled hardwood rather than any applied lacquer or stain. The compact, looping form is a distinctive departure from the instrument's more familiar straight-tube shape, made deliberately as a singular sculptural interpretation.
No hand-carved instrument follows the same grain pattern or takes the same curve twice. This is a genuine, playable piece and a singular object at once — existing in exactly this one form.
