This piece stands on four legs, and every one of them is a genuine salvaged tap.

The base of this lamp is built entirely from reclaimed plumbing fittings, four brass tap bodies serving as feet, their spouts still pointed outward exactly as they were when they once controlled the flow of water in some forgotten building. Above them, two vertical pipe columns rise in parallel, connected by horizontal crossbars to form a clean, open rectangular frame, architectural in its simplicity, utterly honest in its materials.

At the frame's center sits the piece's defining detail: a genuine reclaimed water meter, its blue-painted body and brass housing intact, its dial face still showing the markings of a utility that once measured every drop passing through a real pipe network. Beside it, an operable red valve handle adds a deliberate accent of colour against the warm bronze and aged silver of the surrounding pipework, a flash of red that the eye finds instinctively, the way it always has on working plumbing.

Crowning the piece, a single arm bends overhead to hold an authentic vintage green enamel shade, its bowl directing warm filament light downward across the meter and frame below, the same shade language seen elsewhere in the collection, here given new context by the skeletal structure it illuminates.

As with every piece in this collection, every component is genuinely salvaged. The water meter, the taps, the valve, none were purchased new, none were reproduced. They were found, reclaimed, and reassembled into something that carries their history forward rather than erasing it.
