There is a quiet confidence in symmetry, and this piece wears it well. Two arms extend in perfect balance from a central brass spine, each holding a protective wire cage and a glowing filament bulb, a clean, architectural composition that lets the materials speak for themselves.

At its base sits a genuine salvaged mechanical pulley, its aged metal surface and visible machining marks honest evidence of a former working life, mounted atop a toothed gear that grounds the piece with quiet mechanical authority. Rising from this foundation, a single brass pipe splits into a horizontal crossbar, fitted with salvaged elbow joints at each end to carry the twin light heads outward, a design as functional as it is sculptural. At the union sits an operable red valve handle, a single point of color and contrast against the warm brass and dark patina surrounding it.

Where other pieces in this collection lean into visible complexity, this lamp finds its character in restraint, proof that recycled industrial materials, assembled with a careful hand, can produce something as considered as it is rugged.

As with every piece in this collection, the salvaged pulley and gear at its base are genuinely reclaimed components, making this lamp impossible to exactly replicate. One was built. One exists.

Details:

  • One of a kind — this exact base will never be reproduced

  • Recycled Art — pipe fittings, gauge, valve, wood, and brackets all reclaimed

  • Handcrafted piece — assembled piece by piece, no two lamps identical

  • Genuine salvaged mechanical pulley and gear base — original machining marks intact

  • Twin symmetrical light arms — salvaged brass pipe and elbow fittings

  • Exposed Edison bulbs — cast in protective steel cages for that raw, foundry-floor glow

A piece for those drawn to clean industrial lines, where balance, salvage, and warm light meet in quiet, confident form.
