The core of this piece is a genuine reclaimed industrial pendant, its deep dome shade carrying the natural aging of years spent under a working roof — a soft, worn sheen with no artificial finish applied. A riveted diamond-shaped mounting plate sits at its crown, original hardware left fully intact, connecting the fixture to its suspension arm exactly as it was found.

Wrapped entirely around the dome, a geometric wire cage guard — angular, faceted, and hand-fitted — protects the fixture the way it would have on the factory or dockside floor it once served. Beneath the shade, the original lamp housing remains visible through the glass, its components preserved rather than replaced. The fixture hangs from a weathered suspension arm, its surface marked with the same honest wear as the shade above it.

No dome ages identically, and no cage was bent to a template — each was fitted by hand to the piece it protects. This fixture exists in exactly one form, carrying its own individual history into whatever room it now lights.
