The crown of this piece is a genuine reclaimed medical or dental examination light, its five original bulb domes arranged in a circular array within an aged enamel housing, the surrounding ring finished in a soft, weathered teal-green patina. A thin protective bracket loops over the top, original to the fixture, while a small brass control knob and red-handled shutoff valve sit fixed at its base — retained fully intact from the light's working life.
Below, the fixture rises from a salvaged timber cabinet, its wood left raw and richly grained, joined at each seam by aged iron corner brackets. A vintage pressure gauge sits mounted to the cabinet's face, dial and needle preserved exactly as found, alongside a dark inset panel that hints at instrumentation once housed within. The whole piece stands on three brass pipe legs, hand-bent and splayed into a tripod stance, giving it the balance and poise of precision equipment rather than a conventional lamp.
No examination light array weathers or ages identically, and this cabinet's grain belongs to no other piece. This is a singular assembly — reclaimed light, reclaimed wood, reclaimed pipe — brought together once, and existing in exactly this form.
