A chandelier has always been a statement about abundance — of light, of craft, of presence in a room. This one makes that statement entirely in salvaged steel, reclaimed pipe, and warm filament glow.
The frame is a genuine circular steel ring, its warm copper-brown patina the result of real oxidation rather than any applied finish, suspended from a salvaged hook and drop by a single industrial chain. From this ring, eight individual pipe arms curve downward and outward in a continuous, fluid composition, some branching from shared stems, others reaching independently, each terminating in a hand-formed wire cage housing a warm, exposed filament bulb. The effect from below is of a constellation arranged in a circle, eight amber points of light floating in a ring of burnished steel, the cages casting delicate shadows outward and upward simultaneously.
What elevates this piece beyond a conventional pendant is the density and warmth of its construction — the pipe arms are genuinely reclaimed fittings, hand-bent and assembled rather than cast or welded to a template, giving the piece a slight organic irregularity that no manufactured chandelier can replicate. Every arm sits slightly differently, every cage hangs at its own angle, the inevitable, beautiful consequence of building with found materials and human hands.
This is the smaller of two versions in the collection — offering the same philosophy and warmth in a scale suited to dining rooms, kitchen islands, and intimate spaces that deserve something genuinely handmade overhead.
As with every piece here, no two will ever be alike. This one was built once.
